Says Who? ...Calvin Klein

Cher from Clueless remains a fashion icon for myself and many other 90s girls, and girlfriend knew what was up when it came to dresses. One of her favorite designers (besides Alaia, obviously) was Calvin Klein, and with good reason. Calvin Klein constantly produces sleek, modern, structural, and sexy styles that are fashionable in any era. So why the heck do I always find so much great CK stuff dropped off at the thrift store? Is this not an "in" brand anymore? Or do people think the only pieces worth having are the heavily logo-ed street wear styles? Who knows, all I know is that I'll keep picking it up at a deep discount, more for me!
I found today's dress at the Goodwill in Montgomeryville back in the wintertime. Someone must have gotten rid of the entire Calvin Klein section of their closet actually, because there were 4 or 5 dresses that were in similar sizes, barely worn or brand new. This gray number was my favorite of the bunch. The collar and asymmetrical zipper take a basic belted dress from boring to bougie. Also, it has pockets. Girls just know that a dress with pockets makes it 100 times better. We don't know why, it just does, ok?
I added silver jewelry, a red lip, and my (also thrifted) strappy BCBG Max Azria sandals and I was out the door. Unlike some men, Calvin Klein has not let me down yet.

DRESS: Calvin Klein via Goodwill Montgomeryville, $6.50
SHOES: BCBG Max Azria via Savers East Norriton, $3.50
Lipstick is Urban Decay in Mrs. Mia Wallace
