Coco Meets the 90s

Do any of you base your outfit around one little detail? I know I do ALL the time. For me, it depends on lipstick, earrings, tights...but most often, shoes.

Today's footwear was a lucky find at my trusty Salvation Army. I was doing my lunch-break rounds when I spotted the famous interlocking Cs. I swear I felt dizzy for a second as I picked up the classic slingbacks. Upon further inspection, I found out that they were not real Chanel (no embossing on the bottom) but they are still so timeless and comfortable. My favorite way to rock these shoes is with an all-black ensemble like I did today. For a little extra warmth (it's cold in PA!) I added a cropped denim jacket that one of my best friends gave me before she moved to Denver (miss you, Anna!) I added crazy vintage earrings and my favorite brown lipstick to give it an extra 90s vibe.

I always like to give a name to my daily ensemble, such as "60s secretary" or "rich bitch whose husband mysteriously disappeared". Today's look is "Coco meets the 90s", because I blended classic elements with a little 91' funk. Just how I like it.
