Happy Saint Patrick's Day to all my friends and newly acquired Irish family!
I like to be corny and wear green on Saint Patrick's Day (even though I'm not Irish) and luckily I have a lot of options to choose from since green happens to look good with my hair and complexion. I also have a few band shirts that I can rock on this holiday! My husband and I went to the Dropkick Murphy's show at this time last year in Philly and had a blast. If you've never been to a show at the Electric Factory, GO. It's my favorite concert venue in the city by far. I thought about wearing my shirt from the concert today, but ended up wearing the one I bought at the Hot Topic outlet in Louisville, Kentucky this past Black Friday. Yes. I am 25 years old and I STILL buy things from Hot Topic. Sue me. This is definitely one of the coolest shirts I own; what's not to love about skeletons in kilts playing bagpipes?
I'm also wearing one of my favorites pairs of Converse today! My sister, Emily, bought these green high tops for me a few Christmases ago. High tops are my favorite style of Converse, and I love to wear this color any chance I get. This pair is so comfy and they still look pretty new. Emily is also an avid Chuck Taylor collector, so we always like to browse the newest styles together.
I completed my ultra-casual look with denim-on-denim, simple post earrings, and my coolest-named lipstick, Lady Danger. I thought the orange with the green really completed the Irish-flag-realness I was going for. Like I said, I'm corny.
