Give Me ALL the Lipstick!

If you know me, you know I LOVE lipstick. I think it is the cherry on top of any makeup routine and I feel totally naked without it. Surprisingly, I used to be scared to wear it because, like many, I thought I looked like a clown. I have a very pronounced bottom lip and I though that adding lipstick just made it look even worse. For some reason, one day, I just stopped caring. I feel most confident in reds, oranges, and purples, but I also have black, blue, and magenta in my collection that I like to break out when I can. Today, I chose a bright fuchsia that matched the cute little lips on one of my favorite thrift finds that I'm going to tell you about.

One day last year, I went thrifting with one of my best friends, Catherine. It was a half-off day at the Thorndale Goodwill, and I needed to introduce her to how amazing this sale can be. Catherine is a frugal gal like me, and we often find lots of inexpensive and useful things whenever we shop together. To say we made out like bandits on this particular day is an understatement. We found skirts, sweaters, and shoes for just a few dollars apiece, and we were in heaven. The best part about thrifting with your friends? You find each other things while sifting through the racks. My lip-print shirt was one of those items Catherine found for me. I was ecstatic! I love button downs, and this one is so silky-smooth and goes great with several of my dresses. And I mean, come on. The little lips all over the shirt sealed the deal for me. In return, I found some cute sweaters for her to rock at work. Hey, what are friends for?
