Far Out, Man

I swear, when it comes to my wardrobe, there is no in-between. Some days I just want to wear black and white, and some days I want to wear ALL THE COLORS. Well, today is definitely the latter.

As I've alluded to many times before, I have a stupid amount of graphic tees. I have loved them ever since I was in middle school, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Luckily, my sister also loves fun t-shirts, so we always know what to get each other for birthdays, Christmas, etc. It's always cool to see what she'll pick out for me and vice versa. Today's Led Zeppelin shirt was a Christmas present from her! I love all the neon colors on it, and usually I pair it with dark denim or black pants. However, today I was feeling like adding some "oomph", so I wore it with this awesome skirt I got from an online Forever 21 sale a few years ago. It is a gorgeous royal blue shade, which adds color but doesn't clash with the cool psychedelic style of my top. It's also a really interesting cut: it's basically a body-con miniskirt with long draping fabric on one side. I love clothes that are interesting to look at and I gravitate toward anything with an out of the ordinary structure, texture, or pattern.

:Lastly, I broke out my Vans, which were also a Christmas present from Emily a few years ago! They are this awesome blue-green color that I have nothing else like in my closet. These sneakers are one of my absolute favorite pairs to wear in the spring and summer; they add such a cheery pop of color to any look and they are comfy as hell. If it wasn't for my sister, I probably would have never tried these Vans out (I gravitate toward the high tops and the style that has the chunkier sole), so I'm glad she gifted them to me! It's so fun to share clothes with her and see her style evolve as she grows up. She's certainly already taught me a thing or two!
