Vintage Kind of Day

The title of this post might seem a bit silly because I like to incorporate a little something vintage into my look EVERY day...but today I went HAM on the old school glam and I'm not mad about it one bit.

For the past few days, we have had record heat for this time of year in southeastern PA, which means putting my hair up and wearing a sundress. This is my favorite kind of weather because it's a nice reminder that summer (my fave time of year) is right around the corner! Also, it's ridiculously easy to get dressed, because who wants to fuss with a bunch of layers when it's 90 degrees outside? Not this girl. Today is my first time wearing this AMAZING green dress with white polka dots, and I can't wait to find even more ways to wear it. The shade of this dress is gorgeous, kind of like a deep, pine-y, jade combo that is a perfect transition color from spring to summer. And, come on, you know I love me some dots (also the candy that no one likes. I think my grandma and I are the only ones that like Dots.)

As I've said prior, I love mixing patterns, so I added my knotted floral headband. I love green and yellow together, and the colors of the flowers look super cute with the dress. I added my Franco Sarto peep toes and I was ready for the hot May day ahead. Now wasn't that easy?
