I have to admit, when jumpsuits and rompers became a *thing*, I was a bit skeptical. I wasn't sure if I'd look like an overgrown toddler or if the style would be too "young" for me. Let me tell you, once I tried one on, I wondered WTF took me so long. You can't go wrong with something that's one piece; it's just a no-brainer while getting ready. And most of them are sooo flowy and comfy and effortlessly fabulous. What's not to like?
I found today's jumpsuit while introducing one of my BFFs, Dan, to Savers in East Norriton. While he was checking out the fantastic men's selection, I was deep into the dresses. The dress section is probably one of my favorite sections to thrift from because you never know what you'll find: rompers, overalls, prom dresses, all kinds of great stuff! I knew instantly that I wanted this jumpsuit as soon as I pulled it out. It would be perfect for summer nights out. Dan agreed, we weren't leaving until I bought it! I adore the colors and pattern and just the overall vibe that this outfit puts out. It's trendy, but I don't feel like I'm trying too hard at all. I added my favorite statement necklace, neutral sandals, and a jean jacket since it is a bit chilly and rainy here today. The best part? I can eat lots of yummy food at Bonefish for my dad's birthday tonight and it will be artfully disguised by my outfit. Most excellent, indeed.
