Tie the Knot

So, the T on why I haven't been blogging as consistently is because (dun dun DUN) just like my girl Lizzie McGuire, I am an outfit repeater. What use is a good outfit if you only wear it one time? There is nothing wrong with repeating a look in my humble opinion. Anyway, I've been shopping my closet recently and I discovered this dress that I haven't worn since the end of April...and that was the only time I wore it. I remember it so well because it was our good friends' wedding! We had a blast dancing and hanging out and celebrating the happy couple (maybe a little too much lol). I decided a random Tuesday would be a perfect time to resurrect it.
I found this dress this past winter at Savers in East Norriton. David and I were looking at paintings for our apartment (which we did find!) but you know I had to mosey on over to the clothes section. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this beauty! Red is my ALL-TIME favorite color and the cut of this dress is like nothing I own. The knot in the middle is super flattering and I love the boat neck top. Did I mention this is by Michael Kors? I'm not a huge fan of his handbags, but I adore his clothing line; the colors and styles are perfect for everyday wear. The best part? This baby only set me back $9.99.
So the next time you find yourself in a wedding shitstorm (you know what I mean), check out the local thrift store! You can look fabulous for a mere fraction of the cost of having to buy a totally new dress every time you're invited to celebrate another marriage. Cheers!
